Immigration Know Your Rights and Teach-In

NELA-Illinois and the Community Justice Clinic at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, along with co-sponsors Federal Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association – Labor and Employment Committee, Organized Communities Against Deportation and Jewish Council on Urban Affairs, will be holding a hybrid conference on January 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Co Chairs: Nieves Bolanos (NELA President); Erin Franzblau (FBA-Chicago President); Paula Rao (Immigration Attorney) and Robin Potter (Labor & Employment Attorney) invite you to an event not to be missed - one of a kind teach in detailing the urgency and changes in Immigration law and policy… to understand and provide concrete expertise in one learning space for lawyers, elected officials, judges, community/interfaith and labor experts to educate accurately on the law, legal challenges, rights of our new neighbors and immigrants and their supporters, and in a Sanctuary State and City.

This CLE will be presented IN PERSON at Northwestern University Law School – Room RB 150 Aspen Hall, 375 East Chicago Avenue Chicago, IL 60611. You can also attend remotely via Zoom.
We request that you register by 10:00 AM Thursday, January 9.
During the registration process, you will be asked whether you are attending IN PERSON or VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM. The purpose of registration is to provide a list of in-person attendees to the building reception and to have an appropriate amount of food available.
Lunch will be available for those attending in person. Those attending virtually will receive an email with the Zoom link by Thursday morning, January 9.
