The Illinois National Employment Lawyers' Association (NELA) respects the privacy of its members and visitors to our web site. This statement outlines privacy policies and practices of Illinois NELA. This statement may occasionally be revised; any changes will be reflected on this page.
Personal Information
Personal information including but not limited to addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses is collected for membership, subscriptions, event registrations, submission of information to our databanks and purchase of Illinois and national NELA products. This information may be sold or "rented" to third parties for promotional mailings, but Illinois NELA restricts such third parties from otherwise using or retaining such information.
E-mail
Illinois NELA uses its members' e-mails to contact them regarding membership and member services changes as well as for distributing information that members find vital to their practices or advocacy. Illinois NELA does not share this information. Members can change their email addresses in the member database by logging in and going to "Your Account".
Cookies
A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser,
which may then be stored on your hard drive. Cookies may last for only a
single session or may span multiple sessions. Our Web site only uses
single session cookies. We use cookies in the Members Only section of
our Web site in order to prevent security breaches and store user data
